Chasing the Word of the Lord for 2020 (March Newsletter)

Dear Partners,

I am very excited to launch this time together. I feel the lord wanting to do deep insightful work in our souls this year. 3 John 2, “Brethren, I wish above all things that you would prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers.” I can only imagine the healing that is on the other side of the adjustments needed in our mind, will, and emotions. The thinking that we will come into, the creativity that waits on us as we are free to set our minds upon the Lord in new ways. I was told this last week that Google requires its employees to live a fasted life. They have discovered that fasting clears the mind. They feel for them to be competitive as a company or lead the way, those involved need to have a clear mind. The world is all around what a believer has available to them in their daily walk with the Lord. I think in this new decade, the believer has the opportunity to lead the way in every industry that exists. Aerospace, technology, government, whatever lane of life you might find yourself in, expect to lead the way. He is changing our minds to adjust our attitudes that will free our hearts. This has always been the way of success. Believers have a tendency to get comfortable and like routine. Jesus took twelve men and began to reprogram them from a “Locked Down,” mindset to a kingdom mindset. We are not called to be locked down. The Roman centurion wasn't locked down in his thinking by the law or tradition. Jesus said that He has not seen such great faith even in Israel. He said to Jesus, “I understand authority,” I say to one go and he goes, and I say to another and he comes. Just speak the word Jesus, I understand the power of the spoken word. Partners, get ready to see the power of the spoken word again, get ready to see a display of authority again. God told Moses to take off his sandals, for the ground that he was now standing on, was holy. (Ex. 3:5) There is so much revelation here. The Lord was letting Moses know that He was waiting on him to arrive where He was at. We the church are at this very same spot. We find ourselves in a time that we have never been to before. The word Holy defines itself to mean, “A cut above.” It will be in our understanding of this moment that will actually define us. We are being given the opportunity to make a major impact, a huge influence, a world-changing difference. Moses was required to do one thing, take off his former walk, his sandals. To be a cut above, we have to be willing to adjust to what the Lord is requiring in the moment. God was telling Moses, your walk with Me must change so the fruit of your life can change. God told Joshua, “Every place that the sole of your foot treads upon, I’ll give you.” ( Josh. 1, 5:15 ) This is a time to claim the ground that we have now been invited to walk on. From an adjusted way of thinking, from a whole soul, we will be assigned to bring before the world signs and wonders. The church needs to get the attention of the world again. This very same process took place in Joshua chapter five. Every generation must be open to this evolution. Joshua’s challenge to change gave him the responsibility and the ability to lead God's people out of one thing and into another. The influence of the Lord gave Joshua the ability to lead God’s people into their promised land. Here we are partners, ready to write history the way God has it already written out. Ready to bring signs and wonders to our churches and our communities, ready to lead, to be out front, to see people come into the promised land. Our willingness to change our thinking will produce the willingness of His liberty.
